How it works

• Install Spellar from your Setapp library
• Sign in via Setapp's web auth — no separate Spellar account needed
• All Pro features unlocked while your Setapp subscription is active
• Your recordings sync to spellar.ai and the iOS app (with the same email)

What's included

• Unlimited recordings on macOS
• All templates, folders, integrations
• AI Copilot and AI Chat

What's not included

• iOS — Setapp doesn't cover the iOS app. To use Spellar on iPhone, subscribe via the App Store or buy a Pro plan on web.
• Spellar AI credits — Setapp users use the AI features built into Spellar; no separate AI credit pool
• Workspace features — Pro+ workspace sharing is web-only and requires a separate Pro+ subscription

Switching from Setapp to direct

If you cancel Setapp and want to buy Spellar directly, your account may still be linked to your Setapp-generated email. Contact [email protected] with your real email and we'll migrate your account in one step.
