How we process data

What we collect
- Audio — the recordings you make. Encrypted at rest in Cloudflare R2.
- Transcripts — auto-generated from audio. Encrypted at rest.
- Summaries — AI-generated. Encrypted at rest.
- Calendar metadata — event title, start/end, attendees, conference links. Read-only.
- Account data — email, name, subscription state, settings.
- Analytics — feature usage events via PostHog. No transcript content. Used to improve the product.
Who can see your content
Only:
- You (signed into your account)
- Teammates you've explicitly shared a recording or folder with
- Sub-processors handling the data on our behalf (listed below)
Spellar staff cannot read your transcripts at will. We access content only when you grant support access (e.g. for debugging).
