Connect your calendar

Once your calendar is connected, Spellar can detect meetings automatically, tag recordings with the right attendees, and remind you to record on time.

Supported providers

• Google Calendar (OAuth)
• Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 (OAuth)
• Apple Calendar (system permission on macOS / iOS)

Connect Google or Outlook

1. Open Spellar → Settings → Calendar.
2. Click Connect next to your provider.
3. Approve the requested permissions in your browser.
4. Back in Spellar, pick which calendars you want Spellar to watch.

Apple Calendar

Spellar reads from your local Apple Calendar via the system Calendar permission — no OAuth needed.

1. On macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → enable Spellar.
2. On iOS: tap the calendar prompt the first time you open Spellar.
